With four celebrity supported Charity Golf Days, La Sala Chigwell has raised a total of £13.650 for local charities in 2015.
La Sala Chigwell held its fourth Charity Golf Day last Wednesday, 2nd December July, at the beautiful Chigwell Golf Course with the aim to raise money for The Guide Dogs for the Blind.
72 golfers showed their support and played 18 holes for a great cause, including Teddy Sheringham (former Tottenham Hotspurs, Manchester United, West Ham and England footballer, current Stevenage player manager) and Stephen Carr (former Tottenham Hotspur player). Following the game, the players headed to La Sala Chigwell for the presentation and prize giving, which was accompanied by a array of complimentary drinks in the bar followed by a festive three course Christmas Lunch. Peter Taylor (former Tottenham and England player) handed out the prizes for the best and held a raffle which raised a total of £1350 for The Guide Dogs for the Blind charity.
