La Sala Chigwell held its second Charity Golf Day last Wednesday, 8th July, at the beautiful Chigwell Golf Course with the aim to raise money for The Dream Factory charity.
The ex Tottenham Hotspur player David Bentley as well as the former British Featherweight boxing champion Colin McMillan were also supporting the charity event. After the long day on the course the golfers were greeted at La Sala Chigwell with well deserved aprés golf drinks and canapés, followed by a prize giving, auction and a raffle, hosted by the fantastic Mark Brewer, who is the Entertainments Director from Potters holiday resort in Norfolk. The auction and raffle raised an amazing total of £6580 for The Dream Factory charity.
La Sala Chigwell would like to thank all the golfers who played on the day and everyone else who supported the charity event. We would also like to give a big thank you to Neil Davey from South Eastern Electrical, who kindly donated two holidays to his beautiful villa in Tenerife and the European PGA Golf Pro Simon Khan, who donated a PGA golf lesson and a signed Taylormade driver. Last but not least we would also like to thank Gregory Charles from Bespoke Tailors for donating a tailor made suit for the auction.
